I've spent some time reflecting on my jewellery journey (yes, it's that deep 😂) and here are some reasons why I wear jewellery -
1. Style and Self-expression: To add a little oomph to my look as well as express myself. I have realized that over time my jewellery has often expressed my inner quirk/the playful side of me which isn't necessarily evident when one meets me for the first time.
2. Sentiment: I enjoy wearing pieces I've been gifted by my loved ones ❤ This really makes me happy! It also brings me a little comfort if the giver is currently far away.
3. Encouragement: I have a bracelet that says - God said, " When you see only one set of footprints...it was then I carried you." I reach for it on the days I need the reminder that God is near.
